Yesterday 12^th of February, in Cardiolink we collaborated with the workshop organized in Hospital Quirón Sagrado Corazón (Sevilla, Spain), regarding haemorrhoid treatment through radio frequency. Dr. J. M. Suárez, from the Coloproctology Unit in that hospital, lead the workshop, in which 5 cases of haemorrhoids were treated with the Rafaelo Procedure®.

The Rafaelo Procedure® is an advanced radio frequency treatment of haemorrhoids under local anaesthesia, which can be used in outpatient surgery. The procedure usually lasts about 15 minutes, and it enables the patient to recover its daily activities promptly, thanks to the shrinkage and even disappearance of the haemorrhoids, and the improvement or the termination of its symptoms.
