Last Wednesday 6^th of May, in Cardiolink we organized a webinar on Radiofrequency treatment of haemorrhoids, in which Dr. J.M. Suárez Grau was the speaker.

More than 100 healthcare professionals from Spain and Latin America attended the webinar, which deepened on the radiofrecuency technique used in the treatment of haemorrhoids. In particular, Dr. Suárez shared his own experience with the Rafaelo® Procedure, an advanced radiofrequency treatment of haemorrhoids under local anaesthesia, which can be used in outpatient surgery. This procedure usually lasts about 15 minutes, and it enables the patient to recover its daily activities promptly, thanks to the shrinkage and even disappearance of the haemorrhoids, and the improvement or the termination of its symptoms. In addition, the online session was interactive, meaning the attendees could discuss and solve their doubts regarding this radiofrequency technique.

Despite the current exceptional circumstances of the COVID-19 pandemic, in Cardiolink we keep our commitment on the specialized medical education.
