Last Monday 4^th of May, in Cardiolink we organized a webinar on Laparoscopic Pectopexy in the management of Pelvic Organ Prolapse (POP), in which Dr. Jorge Hidalgo Arroyo (Urology Service, Hospital de Figueres, Girona) was the speaker.

The online session started off with an anatomic debriefing and a POP description, and it then focused on the Laparoscopic Pectopexy technique in the management of Pelvic Organ Prolapse: its indications, benefits and main features compared to the Sacral-Colpopexy technique. Dr. Hidalgo shared his own experience and preliminary findings on this laparoscopic technique with more than 100 urologists and gynecologists from Spain and Latin America that joined the meeting. In addition, as the webinar was interactive, the attendees could discuss their concerns and clarify any doubts regarding the Laparoscopic Pectopexy technique.

Despite the current exceptional circumstances of the COVID-19 pandemic, in Cardiolink we keep our commitment on the specialized medical education.
