In November, the 1^st Complex Incisional Hernia workshop, organized by Dr. Pera and Dr. Pereira, took place in Hospital del Mar (Barcelona).

The guest surgeons who attended the workshop took part in the clinical session, which revolved around incisional hernias (risk factors, complexity criteria, surgical strategy and results, prevention…), and were also involved in the live surgery, in which two different cases of incisional hernia repair using PVDF meshes were performed.

Due to the current situation, the second workshop on complex incisional hernia cannot be performed on-site as usual. Instead, in Cardiolink we are organizing a webinar on complex incisional hernia, which will be held on the 25^th of June at 5pm through Zoom. Dr. José Antonio Pereira and Dr. Alejandro Bravo from Hospital del Mar will be the speakers of this online session, which will be interactive.
