Last Thursday 30th of April, in Cardiolink we organized a webinar on laparoscopic inguinal hernia repair, in which Dr. J. M. Suárez Grau was the speaker.
The online session focused on the use of TAPP* and TEP* techniques on the laparoscopic approach in inguinal hernia repair. Dr. Suárez started of the webinar with an anatomic refresher and a detailed description of the TAPP and TEP techniques, its indications and main features. The introduction was followed by some live surgery videos which Dr. Suárez showed in order to share his experience on these techniques. More than 200 attendees from Spain, Portugal and Latin America joined the meeting, which was interactive, meaning the attendees could discuss their concerns and clarify any doubts regarding these laparoscopic approaches on inguinal hernia repair.
