Polymer-free Sirolimus Eluting Coronary Stent System
The ViVo ISAR Polymer Free Sirolimus Eluting Coronary Stent System consists of a Cobalt Chromium stent mounted on a stent delivery system. The stent is coated with a formulation of Sirolimus drug in a polymer free delivery matrix of hydrophobic carrier Probucol and Shellac Resin.
Main features:
- Dual drug DES: sirolimus + probucol
- Cobalt Chromium
- Micro-porous surface: stent surface has micro-pores which act like reservoirs for delivering the drug to the targeted site.
- Abluminal coating: ensures better endotheliasation and reduces the incidence of stent thrombosis.
- Shellac Resin: helps for the smooth top coat of the stent and prevents dual-drug matrix break ups during stent expansion.
