First mechanical aortic valve that reproduces the shape of the natural aortic annulus.

• The only prosthetic valve on the market with a 90º leaflet opening, offering increased blood flow with less resistance, and 40º closing angle relative to the plane of the orifice, which minimizes regurgitation, reduces cavitation and reduces noise during the opening-closing process.

• Flared inlet that promotes laminar flow, reducing the tendency to lateral regurgitation and with a better and thorough washing of the leaflet pivots.

• Intra/supra-annular aortic and mitral mechanical valve.

• Offers a thin, resistant and flexible suture ring, easy to implant, which conforms to any native annulus with diameter between 25 and 33 mm.

• Superior hemodynamics: due to its design, the On-X prosthetic valve offers a higher flow with less resistance (very low residual gradients) and natural characteristics: laminar, non-turbulent and with less hemolysis.

• Supra-annular aortic and mitral mechanical valve.

• With a height-diameter ratio similar to that of the natural aortic valve.

The body of the On-X in the mitral position has the same design as the On-X valve in the aortic position, and therefore has the same thrombogenic benefits as the aortic model: reduced anticoagulation, superior hemodynamics and lower hemolysis.
