Last week, during the 21^st-22^nd of November, the 1^st Complex Incisional Hernia workshop, organized by Dr. Pera and Dr. Pereira, took place in Hospital del Mar (Barcelona).

The guest surgeons who attended the workshop took part in the clinical session, which revolved around incisional hernias (risk factors, complexity criteria, surgical strategy and results, prevention…), and were also involved in the live surgery, in which two different cases of incisional hernia repair using PVDF meshes were performed.

In Cardiolink we collaborated on this workshop, remaining committed to surgical and medical trainings.
