The Fistura® Procedure is a minimally invasive, outpatient procedure for the treatment of anal fistulae. Treatment is done by applying energy in the form of a radio frequency wave to the tissue. By applying the radio frequency wave (4MHz) to the tissue the energy is converted into heat and coagulation of the tissue appears.
In this webinar, the complexity of anal fistula treatment and the current treatment methods will be discussed. Then, Fistura® Procedure will be introduced; its technical details, the mechanism of action and the first study results.
